Rodney Allison

Funeral services for Rodney Allison, age 72, of Norfolk, Nebraska will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, October 19, 2024, at Home for Funerals Chapel, 708 Georgia Avenue in Norfolk. Deacon Leon Gentrup will officiate, with burial in Prospect Hill Cemetery in Norfolk.

Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the chapel.

Home for Funerals in Norfolk is in charge of arrangements.

Rodney died Saturday, October 12, 2024, at Premier Estates in Pierce, Nebraska.

Rodney, son of Charles and Hazel (Bishop) Allison, was born November 11, 1951 in Norfolk, Nebraska, where he grew up and attended school. Rodney was a talented musician, picking up the guitar at age 10, and played professionally in local Norfolk bands for a lot of his life. He worked at Roman Packing for 25 years.

He is survived by his sister, Sandra (Roger) Brandt, daughter Sara (Zach) McArthur, one aunt, one uncle, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Hazel Allison.
