Carol,
We were so sorry to hear of Ron's passing! We hope it was not due to COVID-19! I finally learned it today when I goggled his name. The Christmas card I sent came back the 3rd week of Jan. and it has been on my desk since while I pondered about the best way to reach out to you. I am sorry it has taken this long! Our thoughts and prayers are with you! Love, Barb

Dear Carol and family,
I’m sorry for your loss with Ron’s passing. I met Ron as a bank customer in my years working with Cal Worden ( crazy string of changes through DeLay Bank and then later FirsTier/usbank). I left in 2002 after the shootings and left many memories and connections behind. But Ron was a great customer and left an impression when you met him. He was kind and courteous, friendly and professional all at the same time.
You are in my prayers.

How saddened we were to read of Ron's death. Stan remembers early school days with him--and more recently we both remember his continuing support of his Dundy County. Haigler and the Haigler Community Foundation were so fortunate to have received he and his family's support on so many of our community projects. We shall always be grateful. He will be missed by many. Sending our sincere sympathies to the family of Ron.

I was saddened to read about Ron's passing. My deepest condolences to Carol and the family and friends. I worked in the office at Fore Quarters Feedlot, east of Norfolk, for a time. Rod, as I remember, was a good person to work for and he was always so considerate for the office staff.

There was an explosion, actually several. Dirt and rocks rained down, but the showers from the heavens were no competition for our laughter. Little did I know (I'm still not sure?) that dynamite is the preferred method to "Get a little more flow out of those springs - we'll see what happens" said Ron. Maybe that's how they do things out in Parks or maybe we were just "Middle Aged Kids" enjoying an "Adult" fireworks display? Dang - either way it sure was fun. Yes, it's possible to miss a Canada goose at fifteen feet. Yes, a Northern can eat your Walleye before you get it to the boat. No, Ron sue as hell wasn't about to share his Montana Steam Side Lunch with a Rattle Snake!
"Hey Billy...let's saddle up Buck and your can take him for a ride". Ugh - I really don't know much about horses (actually nothing) but he's your pride and joy so sure. "He'll take good care of you", said Ron. Buck was on auto-pilot and he knew where he was taking me - to the top of a "Mountain" on the Pennypoke. Reaching the peak, Buck turned and stood still. Revealed was a sea of waving grass, cattle gently grazing, shadowing hills, a crystal clear lake and the whispering song of a quiet breeze. Wow, the beauty of the Sand Hills!
Just maybe, from a perch atop Buck, I was afforded the privilege of a glance into the "Big Heart" of Ron Krutsinger - I'd sure like to think so.
RIP Ron and Thank You For Your Friendship. It was a good ride.
Cathy and I send our Prayers to you Carol., family and friends.

Oh, Bill, what a great story. He loved telling about you, the city kid, and going to the ranch. He was one of a kind. I miss him dearly.

We are so sorry to hear of Ron's passing. I first met Ron when he had purchased a ranch south of Ericson and my father checked the cows and maintained the fences for him. My husband Joe and I fed cattle for Ron for many years. He was always willing to give advice and help people out. He will be greatly missed.

Rest In Peace Ron. We had the opportunity to take care of cattle for Ron for the last 14 years. I always enjoyed when he would come up to look at the cattle and at shipping time. He was always so generous and gave compliments to us even when things went wrong or the cattle didn’t do as well as he had liked. This past fall when we got ready to ship, we weighed cattle the first day, I called Ron to tell him what they weighed, his reply was ‘Good job Buddy, that’s just great.’ We will miss him dearly up here in South Dakota.

We were saddened to read of Ron's passing. He was our classmate at Parks High School - class of 1957. We last saw him at a 50 year class reunion and even though he spent his senior year at another school, we claimed him as part of our graduating class. - School and church in the little town of Parks afforded all of us to have special memories and lifetime friendships. Praying for comfort for the family.
