Rowan Jax Teeters-Bare

Funeral services for Rowan Jax Teeters-Bare, age 4 months, of Hoskins, will be 10:30 a.m., Monday, November 17, 2025, at Grace Lutheran Church in Norfolk. Reverend Ray Wilke and Reverend Christopher Asbury will officiate. Interment will be in the Babyland section of Prospect Hill Cemetery in Norfolk. 

The service will be livestreamed on the church’s Facebook and YouTube page. 

Visitation will be one hour prior to service at the church.

Rowan passed away Wednesday, November 12, 2025.

In Rowan’s short but impactful life, he only knew love. He always had a smile on his face and was always surrounded by family. His favorite thing was sitting on Daddy’s lap watching television and snuggling with Mommy. 

He is survived by his parents, Jazper Bare-Ames and Samantha Teeters of Hoskins; siblings, Rylie Teeters and Noah Berka of Omaha; grandparents, Kevin and Jennifer Ames of Hoskins, DeeDee and Doug Woodcook of Omaha, and Jeffery Bare of Lincoln; great-grandparents, John and Leetta Obermeyer of Hoskins, David Ames of Norfolk, and Terry Teeters of Omaha; aunts and uncles, Laikon (Caitlyn) Ames of Norfolk, Alexa Ames of Norfolk, Mika Ames (Bobby Lutz) of Lincoln, Chantz (Miranda) Ames of Hoskins, Isiah (Vera) Ames of Norfolk, Kris Ames of Norfolk, Brenyn Ames, Jazee Ames, Alex Ames, Adrian Ames, Deztinee Ames, Adlynn Ames, Emery Bowens all of Hoskins, Courtney (Omar) Teeters-Morales of Omaha, and Shawn and Cory Woodcook of Omaha; and special cousins, Beckham Ames of Hoskins, and Xzhavier Morales and Delilah Morales of Omaha. 

Rowan was preceded in death by his great-grandparents, Vicki Teeters and DeeAnn Ames.
