Graveside services for Ruth Ann Denney, age 90, of Stanton, Nebraska will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 15, 2023, in Stanton Cemetery. Reverend Linda Mohr will officiate.

Ruth Ann died Saturday, November 11, 2023, at Hillcrest Care Center in Laurel, Nebraska.

Ruth Ann was born January 20, 1933, to Henry C. and Ruby L. Schultz. Ruth Ann married Ronald C. Denney on June 13, 1953, at Methodist Church of Christ and lived in Stanton until her death.

She was a 70-year member of VFW, Legion Auxiliary, Women’s Club Order of Eastern Star, Todays Homemakers, and several area Bridge Clubs.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald; son, Jim; daughter, Deborah; two brothers, Don and Jim; and one sister, Lois.

She is survived by her daughter, Karen Denney; daughter, Teresa Granquist and husband Tim; six grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren.
