Funeral services for Shirley A. Repp, age 82, of Norfolk, Nebraska will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, June 22, 2024, at Northern Heights Baptist Church in Norfolk. Pastor Jim Fleming will officiate. Interment will be in Prospect Hill Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Friday at the church.

Shirley passed peacefully surrounded by her family Monday, June 17, 2024, at Arbor Care Center – Countryside in Madison, Nebraska.
Shirley was born July 7, 1941, in Albia, Iowa to Russell and Doris (Van Dorin) Hindman. On July 19, 1959, Shirley married her high school sweetheart, Garry Repp, in Albia, Iowa. After marriage they lived in Muscatine, Iowa where Shirley and Garry both accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. In 1965, they moved to Norfolk, Nebraska. The couple was blessed with three children: Michele, Randall, and Denise.
She loved Jesus, being a wife, mother and homemaker, spending time with her family, having a great laugh, collecting antiques, and decorating her home.
She was a member of Northern Heights Baptist Church, Extension Club, Christian Woman’s Club, and volunteered at school and church.
Shirley was preceded in death by her parents; and siblings, Jack (Sarah Ann) Hindman, Mary (George) Godfrey, and Betty Turner.
She is survived by her husband of 64 years; children, Michele (Mike) Shallenberg, Randall (Roberta) Repp, and Denise (Dale) Hansen; grandson, Derek Hansen; great-grandchildren, Mackenzie Hansen and Cameron Hansen; Roberta’s daughter, Theresa (James) Littlefield, and great grandchild, William Littlefield; brothers, Larry (Donna) Hindman and Charles (Betty) Hindman; brother-in-law, John Turner; as well as many nieces and nephews.
