Sondra died Wednesday, September 11, 2024, at Heritage of Bel Air in Norfolk, Nebraska.

Sondra Ann Reigle, daughter of Albert and Irene (Johnson) Ramsier, was born April 12, 1937, in Omaha, Nebraska. She attended school in Madison, graduating in 1955. While in high school, she worked as a lifeguard and was a talented majorette. On January 26, 1956, she married Richard “Dick” Reigle in Denver, Colorado. The couple were blessed with three children.

Sondra and Dick enjoyed selling racing programs at the Madison Downs when there was horse racing in Madison years ago. She also enjoyed working for Gerry's Pharmacy and the Bill Blank Agency. For many years, she helped Dick on the farm until retiring in 2010, when Sondra and Dick moved to Madison.

She was involved in many ways at Trinity United Methodist Church, teaching Sunday School, volunteering at VBS, and serving on various committees. She loved music, singing in the church choir and performed solos at many funerals over the years. Sondra also enjoyed playing cards, particularly Bridge, and played with multiple card clubs with people of all ages. She was famous in her family for her special “Grandma’s Brownies.”

Sondra is survived by her children, Jody (Mark) Brandl of Madison, Michael (Connie) Reigle of Norfolk, and Douglas (Sandy) Reigle of Norfolk; her brother, Larry (Sharon) Ramsier of Norfolk; six grandchildren, Brian (Tonya) Brandl, Brett (Emilee) Brandl, Traci (Jack) Bolduan, Michelle (David) Filsinger, Ryan (Samantha) Reigle, and Alison (Josh) Wendt; four step grandchildren, Stephanie Burke, Brandon (Brione) Rezac, Kylene (Jason) Ewald, and Derrick (Cassie) Rezac; and several great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Dick; her parents, Albert and Irene; her in-laws, Milton and Mildred; and sister-in-law, Phyllis.
