William Rizman Obituary

Graveside services for William J. “Bill” Rizman, age 78, of Humphrey, Nebraska will be 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 7, 2026, at St. Patrick’s Catholic Cemetery in Battle Creek, Nebraska. Chaplain Gordon Braun will officiate. 

Visitation will be Tuesday from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Home for Funerals Chapel, 708 Georgia Avenue in Norfolk.

Home for Funerals in Norfolk is in charge of arrangements.

Bill passed away Tuesday, December 30, 2025, at the Arbor Care Centers-Countryside in Madison, Nebraska.

William James was born May 17, 1947, in Berwyn, IL to Paul and Edna (Pearl) Rizman.

On September 11, 1976, Bill married Diana Lynn Dunn at St. Leonard Catholic Church in Berwyn, IL. While the couple lived in Bolingbrook, IL, Bill was very active in the community events. In 2004, the couple moved to Humphrey, Nebraska. Bill was a machinist for Columbus Hydraulics.

Diana and Bill enjoyed traveling and they took several fun cruises in the Caribbean and Mexico. He was an avid bowler and loved late model stock car racing. Occasionally, he enjoyed a trip to the casino to play blackjack or poker.

Bill is survived by his wife, Diana; sister-in-law, Barb Walz of Battle Creek; and his fur kids.

Bill was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Robert Rizman; brother-in-law Larry Walz, Jr.; and uncle, Joseph Rizman.
