We are so sorry to hear about your Dad’s passing. A lot of fond memories came to mind when we think about Jack. From having coffee at the old Holiday Inn restaurant on Saturday mornings with the “gang” to buying a custom made hunting knife that only Jack knew how to craft. Jack was truly a pillar in the community and will be greatly missed by many. May your Dad have eternal peace in Heaven.

Was so saddened to learn of Jack's passing. So many fond memories of all the fun times we had had at the lake. I hope he has met up with my husband Roger in heaven where they will have new memories . Sympathy to Putters Family.

Our sympathy to the family - children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren - on hearing of the death of Jack. You have quite the legacy, May you each experience God providing all you need as you grieve yet celebrate a life well lived. He was a terrific member of the Norfolk community. He and your mom, Kay, were quite the team!

I first met Jack in the flyfishing club and found we shared a lot of interests. Jack was always willing to share his vast wealth of knowledge and was always enjoyable to spend time with, whether fishing, shooting, or just telling stories.
He will be missed.

Oh,my...sometimes the world just gets a chink in it. What a great guy! I met Jack back in the day when Kay needed someone to pick her up for early duty at the hospital, because she didn’t drive. But Jack was always at the door, in some sort of “acceptable “ attire to send us off. Through the years, we’ve depended on him for so many of our jewelry needs. And we often came home with more than we went in for...a gem, a great story, a heart filled with those things money can’t buy. You kids have gold in your genes. We are saddened with you, but so grateful for knowing him. God is good.

i wish to express my sympathy to the Putter family and especially the one that worked with his dad. I am the one who periodically comes in for a broken pin in a bracelet or watch. I still wear the watch I won one Christmas. Mr Putter was so involved in so many things. A great man. I also see that a granddaughter is married to Logan Schrunk, a grandson of my husband's cousin.

To The Putters family,
I got to know your dad when I volunteered at the Blood Bank he was always good to chat with. Then when I came back to the Church and served on Vestry with him AND OF course went into Putters I just really liked him. He was an awesome man and I am so glad for all the times I spent around him. He will be missed. My deepest sympathy to all of you...our Episcopalian parents are up there together now. God Bless

So sorry for Jack's passing. He will be missed by many. We were so fortunate to have this amazing man, and family, as our next door neighbors. It will never be the same. Thinking of you all. But you can bet, Jack and Kay are so happy, and proud of you all. Nancy and Curt

Tim and I send our sincere condolences. Our dads are up there in heaven having a grand time, I’m sure! They sure enjoyed pranking each other and being competitive on the shooting range. Such a good, lifelong friendship! Your dad was always such a nice guy. I’m sure you all hold many happy memories. Again, our sympathies to you all.

I was terribly saddened to learn about Jack. I had the great privilege to meet Jack when he worked with Orville Carlisle on many of the fireworks shows here in Northeast Nebraska. My sincerest condolences to all of the family for the loss of this good man.
