Kenneth C. Finochiaro

Memorial Mass for Kenneth C. Finochiaro, 83, Apple Valley, MN will be 10:30 a.m., Friday, March 15, 2019 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Norfolk.  Burial will be at Ft. Snelling National Cemetery in Minneapolis, MN at a later date.  Visitation with family will be 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., Thursday with a 7:00 p.m. Rosary at the Home for Funerals Chapel, 708 Georgia Avenue.

He passed away Wednesday, February 20, 2019 at his home in Apple Valley, MN. 

Kenneth was born on November 22, 1935 to his parents Robert and Louise Finochiaro in the Bronx, New York.   He graduated from Dewitt Clinton High School and New York City College and then enrolled in the U.S. Army.  On August 31, 1957, Kenneth married Marie Schoen at Holy Family Church in the Bronx, NY.  Three children were born of this union.  Ken was an active entrepreneur and involved in business operations most of his life.

He is survived by his wife, Marie, three children, Debbie (John) Smith of Suffern, NY, Ken (Susan) Finochiaro of Norfolk, and Donna (Chuck) MacDowell of Middletown, NY, brother Robert Finochiaro of Omaha, nine grandchildren and one great granddaughter. 

In lieu of flowers, memorials requested to the Wounded Warrior Project or Veterans of Foreign Wars.
