I starting working for Bill when I was 16 years old. He told me one time the only reason he hired me was to get me to quit coming in everyday to check on my application. I learned so much of who I am today from Bill. I still quote Bill today when talking to people about where my work ethic came from.
Caroline, please know I'm thinking of you and your whole family. Your dad was a very special man.

Dear Alexander families, relatives, and friends:
I am so very sorry for your loss. Please accept Steven and my condolences. We are thinking of you with heartfelt sympathy, Both of our parents are now passed.
It was years later that I realized the first pharmacy I used after moving to Norfolk, held the name of the owning pharmacist, Though I seldom saw him behind the counter, I remember being greeted by Mr. Alexander's big smile. His business was the first welcoming encounter to a new town I soon called "home".
From this lovely writeup, I learned a gentle caring man's presence will be missed, yet leaving treasured memories. May the Lord comfort you especially in the tender moments. Isaiah 26:3

Bill, I was sorry to learn of your dad's passing. I trust that you have thousands of cherished memories that will in time bring warmth to your heart and a smile to your face instead of a tear to your eye. I am extremely sorry that I and others cannot wrap arms around you and give you comfort. This is a new world for us. I often talked with your dad during the few weeks my mom was at Belair. I was surprised to see you have relatives in Eau Claire; I graduated from high school there. Much love.

Caroline & Bill, Jr. Our sympathies for the loss of a wonderful man. I’m so glad I was able to see him for a short time at the hospital. Keep remembering how blessed we all were to know him. So sorry to send our sympathies instead of convey them in person, but hopefully we will bump into you around town after this has all passed.
